Who is the bitcoin hard drive for?
The bitcoin hard drive is for anyone that needs or wants a head start running a full blockchain or bitcoin node. Full nodes provide the backbone for each blockchain ecosystem and are recommended for developers, miners, merchants, transaction service providers, and other large asset holders.

The bitcoin hard drive is an external SSD (solid state) USB 3.0 hard drive with transfer speeds of up to 415 MB/s. Current drive capacity is 500 GB. Drives are manufactured by SanDisk, WesternDigital, Samsung, or Seagate with similar specifications and performance.
